What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us provide a better experience.

Cookies we use

Two kinds, and no advertising cookies of any sort. Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working — your language, your theme, and your own choice about the categories below. Analytics uses PostHog, hosted in the EU: which pages were opened, in what order, and which buttons were used, with IP addresses anonymised. Analytics also includes session recording, which replays a visit as a sequence of pages and interactions so we can see where the site confuses people; everything you type into a form is masked before it leaves your browser, and we never record the contents of a document. The same applies on the two pages you can reach without visiting the rest of the site: the public company page at dokus.tech/id/… that a company prints on its invoices, and a shared business card at dokus.tech/c/…. Both are counted the same way, and both link back to this page.

Managing cookies

Use the control below: it takes effect immediately, on this page, and it stays in effect on this browser. You can turn off session recording on its own and leave the page counts running, or turn everything off. Your browser settings work too, and turning off strictly necessary storage will break parts of the site.
